The IBC tote—short for Intermediate Bulk Container—is a common type of industrial storage vessel. Typically, it consists of three main components: an outer metal cage, an inner plastic liner, and a discharge valve located at the base. With a standard capacity of approximately 1,000 liters—precisely enough to hold one metric ton of liquid—it is colloquially known as a "ton tote."
