The first type of material that uses an extrusion dryer is not recommended for relatively white materials, as the plasticization rate of the material can reach 70% during the process of squeezing and removing moisture. If the material is plasticized again, it will lead to a decrease in the final particle quality and a darker color.
It is generally recommended that customers adopt the second option, which has the advantage of low noise during equipment operation.
The cleaning process of the second solution is basically the same, mainly the dehydration stage is different. High speed dehydration and spin drying are used, and the moisture content of the dehydrated material is about 10%～13%. Therefore, hot air drying is also required in the later stage. The power of hot air drying varies depending on the production volume. The cleaned and dried material is in a fluffy state, so granulation needs to be carried out using a compact bin. The compact bin can cut the material into small pieces and force them into the main machine screw to increase production.
