Thermoplastic elastomer, also known as TPE or thermoplastic rubber, is commonly abbreviated as TPR. Therefore, we generally consider TPE and TPR to be the same in a broad sense, as they are both abbreviations for thermoplastic elastomers.
Narrowly defined, TPE refers to the elastomers of styrene block copolymers based on SBS and SEBS, also known as TPS. It is currently the largest and most widely used thermoplastic elastomer, and is also the focus of our research.
TPE has the elasticity of rubber, does not require vulcanization, can be directly processed and molded, and can be reused. Replacing rubber in various fields.
