Description of HFFR Parallel Twin Screw Extrusion Compounding Machine
The HFFR halogen-free flame-retardant cable material mixing system has the following advantages.
Two independent steps for optimizing mixing and pressure building
The mixing in the mixer and the pressure building in the discharge device are separated to achieve efficient optimization of the two steps. This mixing system allows for mixing and optimized granulation under low pressure and low temperature conditions, while maintaining temperature control at all times.
Uniform and moderate shear rate
A uniform and moderate shear rate can achieve mixing control at lower temperatures while providing only the required shear operations for the current task. The shear rate distribution is narrower compared to alternative systems, ensuring uniform shear for each particle. This can achieve a high-quality, low-energy input mixing process.
High filling amount
Due to the special design of two to three feeding ports, as well as the use of suitable feeding methods such as lateral feeding screws, separate weight loss feeding of fillers, removal of trapped air through the rear exhaust port, and excellent conveying efficiency, the mixing technology can achieve up to 90% of the filler amount. Moderate shear rate can better cope with high viscosity under high filler content.
Adequate mixing under low specific energy input
The JWELL new multi screw mixer reduces the overall specific energy input by 15-40% and has better mixing performance. This is because the new mixer has increased the number of mixing cycles according to the requirements of each processing zone. The energy of melting and mixing is almost entirely provided mechanically and dissipated in a good manner according to the transmitted shear rate.
Accurate temperature control
The controllable energy input, uniform and moderate shear rate, and temperature monitoring of thermocouples installed in the kneading pins along the barrel enable the Booth mixer to achieve precise temperature control.
