Underwater pelletizing system is an equipment that produces uniform, spherical plastic pellets by extruding molten plastic through a die plate and into a water-filled chamber where it is immediately cooled and cut into pellets.
High efficiency, precise control over pellet size and shape, and is suitable for a wide range of polymers, especially Adhesives, petrochemical, masterbatches, reaction extrusion, elastomers like TPE, TPO, TPU and TPV.
1. General-purpose plastics: PP, PE, PS, etc., with good particle uniformity.
2. Elastomers/Soft materials: TPR/TPE/TPV/TPU, EVA hot melt adhesive (Shore A≤40), etc., with high viscosity and difficult cutting.
3. Engineering plastics: PA, PET, PBT, PPS, PEEK, etc., high-temperature and heat-sensitive materials, ensuring molecular structure stability.
4. Functional Masterbatches: Color masterbatches, filler masterbatches.
5. Specialty Materials: Biodegradable materials such as PLA, foaming materials, highly filled/recyclable materials.
